In The Beginning

There was a teaching American History grant called TASK, Teachers as Scholars in Kansas. TASK was partnered with a powerful national history organization called the National Council for History Education. And so, from these meager beginnings a state council was born dedicated to the practice of encouraging historical thinking in classrooms all across the state of Kansas.
